Oakland knows and loves HAPI!

You'll find HAPI in temporary housing, encampments, on street corners all over Oakland.

Currently HAPI provides services through scheduled outreach and community events, but we are no longer able to respond to individual requests for assistance. If your organization would like to partner with HAPI, please fill out our Partner Interest Form!

HAPI does not operate a veterinary clinic and cannot schedule veterinary appointments through this website. Please use the resources listed here for veterinary care, spay/neuter services, emergency assistance, and pet food.

HAPI outreach and community events typically offer:

  • Pet food and basic supplies
  • Vaccinations (NOT rabies)
  • Flea and dewormer medications
  • Microchips and ID tags
  • Help connecting to spay/neuter and other low-cost resources
